A project whose objective is to coordinate 30 women from different countries, ages, social profiles, professions and personalities to live during 7 days in the skin of someone else.
They will switch suitcases during 7 days.
They will lend each other their masks.
This experience will be registered day by day in a blog, with chronics and photographs.
Each of the women will prepare a suitcase with clothes for 7 days. In it they will include casual clothes, night changes, pajamas, work clothes, shoes and accessories… her personality. She will also put in a book; a couple of movies and a musical selection to thus be able to share a bit more of where and how this borrowed personality was forged.
The switch will occur on Sunday night and the experiment will start Monday morning and end Sunday night, 7 days later.
The couples will be chosen with similar physical characteristics but different life styles residing in a same city.
Each one will document photographically the different changes and adaptations they make to the clothes and accessories they have borrowed and they will use the blog as a diary to describe their feelings, experiences, encounters, transformations born from this experiment.
We will also share the books, movies and the musical selection on the blog.
The women selected will wear day by day somebody else’s clothes, read their books and listen to the music borrowed and see the changes/transformations that arouse in them and their work/job/creations and their life style and fashion post experiment.
This idea is born from the inclination that women have to want to share clothes with their girlfriends, to always be watching what other women wear, what is shown in fashion magazines.
The personality of a woman defines her look and her life style. In a society like today what you wear is what you are; whom you hang out with, your surroundings, your mood, your social rank, and your sentimental situation.
It will be interesting to see the changes that happen in the person that lives it as well as the people that share her immediate surroundings.
